286 Cypress Ave was our first major renovation. The house had been slated for demolition by the City. We were proud to save this home built in 1900 and rumored to have been owned by one of the Sullivant's whose namesake founded Franklinton. The house is 1144 square feet and sold for $127,400 or $118 per square foot. The house was taken down to the studs in most areas. We update all of our homes with new electrical, plumbing, insulation, and roof. We try to save the history and soul of the home and this one had great hardwood floors, the original front door, and beautiful stained glass window original to the house.
